It has a heavier, laser cut, and fully-hardened blade body, which stays flatter and truer longer. The tips are fine-finish honed on all surfaces down to 600 grit. The center of kerf is cut first. Then flat top raker cleans out chips and widens the cut. This blade is commonly used for longer sharp life in hard materials. It is also good for ripping if rake is positive.
