Flame Guard–814 is a UL Classified sealant designed to resume the integrity of 1 & 2 hour fire rated floors and walls when penetrated by plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical items. In fire conditions, Flame Guard-814 forms an effective barrier to prevent the spread of flames, smoke, and toxic gasses. Flame Guard-814 is a one part, non-intumescent, silicate based sealant that is suitable for adhesion to many substrates. Flame Guard-814 has been tested, classified, and approved to be used as a filler for “ThroughPenetration” firestop systems.
